Patriotism, the Old Navy way.

In preparation for Memorial Day, which is next Monday, I want to make sure everyone is properly dressed and prepared.  Where else should you find this year’s attire than at your local Old Navy?  We all know Old Navy’s signature item, the flag shirt/tank… people just cannot seem to get enough!

I mean, considering it does have the year on it, who wants to be caught wearing last year’s shit shirt?  TOTALLY TACKY!!

But, let’s be real about Memorial Day for a second. For most Americans it is not a day about remembering.  This day signifies the OPENING OF THE LOCAL POOL!!!!! Break out those towels, sunscreen, grills, and flip flops!  It is time to debut your AWESOME beach body that you have been working on since Jan. 1, am I right?

The poor unknowing souls who denied Adolf Hitler admission to the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna as a painter in 1907 and 1908 are my history foes. (I wish he’d taken them up on their offer to become an architect instead. Alas he wanted to be an architect of very different things.)

Incidentally, he would have been a decent painter.
